Yuba City Woman Suffers Major Injuries in Car Accident- August 27, 2016

A 4-car crash on Highway 99 north of Shippee Road just south of Chico caused major injury and lane closures on the 25th of August. At approximately 5:45 p.m., Levonne Todd was driving a ’97 Chevy southbound when she was stuck from behind. Forced into oncoming traffic, she struck a Ford and then a dodge coming from the north. Alcohol nor drugs are considered to be suspect in the crash. The driver who rear-ended Todd said he did not realize traffic in front of him had halted.
