Wrong Way Crash Kills Two in Fiery Fair Oaks Impact, September 26, 2016

Early Monday morning on Fair Oaks Road, two people on a motorcycle were killed in a wrong-way crash. Twenty-eight-year-old Brandon Fernandez was driving the wrong way in a silver Hyundai near Lincoln Oaks Drive on Madison Avenue when he slammed into a motorcycle carrying two people. Two caught fire, along with their motorcycle and the Hyundai. Fernandez was able to escape the flames and fled to the sidewalk. The pair on the motorcycle burned to death on the scene. The woman, according to California Highway Patrol was Maggie Schooley, 25. Fernandez did not flee and was arrested for felony DUI.
