Woman Killed Crawling Along Highway 101 — Nov 30, 2016

Betty Arnold, 64, of Salinas, was crawling over Highway 101 in Salinas during a rainstorm. She was run over and killed by Clemente Diaz, 52, of Salinas as she drove her Chevy Silverado. It was near 6:20 a.m. on Saturday when the accident occurred in the northbound lanes close to the West Laurel Drive exit. Investigations are still underway to find out why she was crawling in the highway.
