Western Fresno County Crash Kills One — Aug 28, 2017

A 42-year-old man from Reedley struck a tractor trailer and drove under it in his four-door white Dodge where he remained stuck for several minutes. The accident happened near Huron ay Gale and Butte Avenues, close to the Los Gatos tomato plant. The driver of the truck hauling tomato tubs, 37-year-old Maria Aguilera of Five Points, was driving north on Butte Avenue. The man, who died at the scene, was not identified. A Mia driver, 24-year-old Omar Medrano-Soto, a Hanford resident, was hit by the truck in the aftermath and received minor injuries.
