West Point Single-Car Crash Turns Fatal — Oct 31, 2017

A Lodi man was killed Oct. 27 after losing control of his vehicle in the West Point area. According to the California Highway Patrol, Christopher Murray, 51 of Lodi was traveling on Winton Road in West Point when he failed to negotiate turning properly. His car left the roadway and collided with a tree. Mr. Murray was not wearing a seatbelt. He sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident which is still under investigation. Alcohol and/or drugs are believed to be an influence in this accident.
