Vintage Car Crash on Sunset Road in Brentwood, CA

Alcohol is suspected in the crash that occurred in January of 2015 west of Byron Highway on Sunset Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 1948 Plymouth Deluxe driven by 24-year-old Eduardo Montano of Brentwood misjudged a turn and began to roll. The nineteen-year-old passenger, Ty Leighton, and Montano were wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car. Rodriguez was pronounced dead. Leighton suffered minor injuries and is expected to recover.
