Two Car Crash Near Braeburn Lane in Apple Hill Kills Four, Injures Five

A westbound Toyota Prius, driven by Sheng Kun Su, 38 from Oakland, veered into the path of a minivan driving east on the highway, colliding with the van. The Prius was carrying a family westbound on Highway 50 from Oakland. Temple veered into oncoming traffic in the eastbound lane where she broadsided a minivan. The Prius contained a husband and wife with their 8-year-old son and ten-year-old daughter. Three of the four were killed. Sheng Kun Su, 38 and his 39-year-old wife Shue Zhen Zhao. Their 8-year-old son Shawn Su and 10-year-old Elly Su. Elly Su survived and has been released from the hospital to the care of Bay Area family members, according to reports. The minivan contained a Pollock Pines family, according to El Dorado authorities.  Mother, 35-year-old Danielle Marie Temple was driving; Will John Temple, 51, and two 1-year-old twins, John Maxwell and John James Temple were inside as well as four-year-old Nora Elizabeth who was killed. Danielle and will were severely injured.
