Truck Overturns in Dublin Blocks I580 On-Ramp — Oct 13, 2016

At approximately 1:00 a.m. on the on-ramp to eastbound I-580 near Hacienda Drive, a UPS truck out for deliveries lost control. According to California Highway Patrol, the driver briefly lost consciousness and hit a pole, causing the truck to flip onto its side. Two large flatbed trucks were required to set the UPS truck upright. A small amount of fuel also leaked but it was not enough to call the hazard waste teams. The crash blocked the on-ramp for several hours on Wednesday.
