Suspect Sought in Napa Hit and Run, September 3, 2016

Michael Green, a 54-year-old man from Napa, died from his injuries after being struck by a hit and run driver in early September. Police believe the suspect was in a 2014 silver VW Beetle. Green was in the area of Monarch Drive and Byway East when he was hit by a car at approximately 2:15 a.m. After some investigation at the scene, police believe the Beetle has a tag number of 7EFY913 and it could be hidden in a garage or storage facility in the area. Napa police encourage anyone with information to contact them by texting the word 707NPD and the tip information to 847411 (tip411).
