Suisun City Solo Crash Takes Out Hydrant, Rains Water — Mar 30, 2017

Unexpected showers rained down on the citizens of Suisun City last Sunday when a motorist crashed into a fire hydrant, sending water several feet into the air. Police received a call around 5:30 reporting a solo vehicle accident in the 600 block of Fulmar Drive. Police arrived to find a car had hit a stop sign and a fire hydrant before toppling over. The driver was alone in the car but was uninjured. The fire Department arrived to shut off the hydrant. A portion of Fulmar Drive was closed during the ordeal but reopened a short time later. Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident but speed was, according to authorities.
