Sonoma Man Trapped After Fall From 30 Foot Slope — Apr 10, 2017

Unincorporated Sonoma County was the scene of an accident when two people careened down an embankment of over 30 feet Saturday. It was approximately 8 a.m. on April 8th when calls began to come into police about a crash on Highway 37 close to state Highway 121. Officers were not able to see the accident at first. It was not until one officer got out of the car and looked over the edge of the precipice and heard a car horn. They could not find the car until they walked down the entire 30-foot embankment. Once the two people were extricated from the car the driver was taken to a hospital for minor injury treatment.
