Solo Highway 505 Crash Kills Fairfield Man — Mar 28, 2017

A solo crash in north Vacaville took the life of a Fairfield man, Rudy Lee Carabajal III, 39-years-old. Carabajal, in his 2008 Honda Civic, was travelling south of Vacaville on Interstate Highway 505 when he drifted off the shoulder of the road at around 2:40 a.m. He went on to smash through a fence and hit two trees. The car he was in split in half, ejecting him. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Authorities believe speed was a factor.
