Solo Harley Crash Kills Woman in San Francisco — June 13, 2017

A few minutes after noon on Monday, a woman driving a Harley- Davidson motorcycle crashed near the Ninth Street off ramp on Highway 101 northbound. According to witnesses, she hit a barrier after failing to properly negotiate a curve in the road. She has been identified as 51-year-old San Francisco resident Macshell McIlvenna. The accident caused a substantial back-up in traffic for several hours afterward. Preliminary investigations suggest speed is a factor.
