Solo Crash Kills Teen Ceres Girl — Aug 30, 2017

A young woman from Ceres, 17-years-old, drifted off I 580 at the Highway 132 overcrossing. She hit a concrete pillar and was killed. Police estimate she was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion at approximately 4:10 p.m. eastbound. According to witnesses at the scene, she was driving in excess of 85 mph when her car drifted off road to the right. She went up over an embankment and became airborne. Her vehicle was as high as 127 feet in the air when plummeted into the bridge pillar. Investigators believe the cause of the accident  was an unsafe right turn.
