Single Car Crash on I880 Causes Traffic Alert — Sep 1, 2017

An early Thursday car accident on I880 caused a short Sig Alert for severe traffic. The accident occurred on southbound 880 south of Tennyson Road exit at approximately 5:20 a.m. The four-door vehicle ended up on its side. The vehicle had leaked a considerable amount of oil on the highway. The alert lasted from 5:37 to 6:01. Two of the far left lanes were blocked and traffic ran slow all afternoon.
