Single Car Accident on Milton Road Kills One — Mar 29, 2017

Just North of Highway 4 last Sunday afternoon a single car crash killed a man from Jackson. Fifty-two-year-old, David Ellis of Jackson was driving a 2006 Toyota northbound on Milton Road near Highway 4 when he drifted off the road. It was at approximately 3:45 p.m. on the 26th of March. He went through a barbed wire fence, down an embankment where he ended in a drainage ditch, smashed against a wall. Fire Department personnel responded to the call and found the driver dead at the scene. Fifty-five-year-old Tina Ellis was a passenger in the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital with serious injury. It has been determined that both people in the car were properly seat belted.
