Several Car Accidents in Calaveras County — July 23, 2017

Several accidents in Claveras County throughout the week kept the police force busy. Joshua Hutchinson, 43-years-old, from Santa Clara who was suspected of driving drunk was arrested after falling off of his 3016 KTM motorcycle on the 15th. He was travelling north on Whiskey Slide Road close to West Murray Creek Road at speeds over 60 mph. It was approximately 10:15 p.m. when he drifted off the road and onto the shoulder where he fell off. He received major injury and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. A few days prior to Hutchinson’s arrest, three other accidents occurred resulting in two other arrests. In one July 12th accident, a toddler’s arm was caught under the wreckage of the accident.
