Santa Clara Motorcyclist Killed on Highway 17, July 25, 2016

According to the California Highway Patrol, it was in the area of Lexington Hills where a motorcyclist was struck and killed by a car in Los Gatos. It was approximately noon on southbound highway 17 when a Scotts Valley motorcyclist, 69-years-old, was struck on the left side by a 53-year-old man driving a gray Honda Accord who was changing lanes. The biker was ejected, hit an embankment and stopped. He was rushed to San Jose’s Santa Clara Valley Medical Center with major injuries. He later died. The driver of the Honda was not harmed or arrested. The motorcyclists has yet to be identified.
