San Jose Man Identified as Victim of Freemont Freeway Wreck — June 08, 2017

Last Wednesday’s wreck that killed a man after his car hit a big-rig truck on Interstate 680 has been identified by authorities as Gerald De La Rosa III. He was 31-years-old and a San Jose resident. The accident left his car wedged under the truck. It occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. near the northbound end of South Mission Boulevard. The truck was not moving when the car hit it. Investigations are underway.
