San Jose Hit and Run Kills Pedestrian — Nov 17, 2016

A pedestrian was killed as he walked along the Tully Road entrance to Highway 101 southbound. California Highway Patrol received information about a man lying in the onramp near the metering lights. It was not clear, at first, if he had been hit. All officers could tell was he was a man in his 40’s.  They soon found debris from an automobile, however, and determined it to be a hit and run situation. The man had a wallet, ID, cash and car keys but no nearby vehicle was found. It is still unclear why he was on the road.
