San Francisco/ Oakland Bay Bridge Crash Kills Toll Worker -- Dec 2, 2017

A toll attendant was killed in a crash on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. A California Highway Patrol Officer told the San Francisco Chronicle that a box truck hit several vehicles Saturday morning, and then hit a toll booth. The attendant working inside the booth was killed. The truck driver and a passenger were ejected and suffered serious injuries. Gov. Jerry Brown said in a statement that the victim was a 46-year-old California Department of Transportation employee named Si Si Han. She had worked for Caltrans for more than a decade. She is survived by husband Ryan and their 10-year-old daughter Ashly. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It is not believed to have been an intentional act.
