Roseville Police Chase Ends in Crash Before Arrest — July 31, 2017

Roseville residents woke up to a police chase Monday morning that only ended when the suspect drove into a wall. Police arrested the man and escorted him to the hospital for evaluation, before taking him to jail.

The chase started after Roseville police received a call reporting an ongoing burglary on Folsom Road. When the officers arrived at the site they tried to approach a driver looking suspiciously and the man drove away, ramming a police car.

The chase took place westbound on I-80 and it ended close to Auburn Boulevard and Riverside Avenue, where the man crashed. Inside the car, the police found a handgun.

The suspect will be charged with assault and evading an officer. His connection to the burglary is still under investigation.
