Rollover Crash in Sausalito Injures One -- Dec 5, 2017

One person was injured after a car rolled on its roof on Highway 101 in Sausalito. The crash happened at approximately 3:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes close to the Spencer Avenue exit. The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, the Southern Marin Fire Protection District reported. Police, firefighters, and rescuers closed two lanes during the crash response. The roadway was cleared by 4:50 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reported. Witnesses reported the car speeding prior to the crash and may have been associated with another speeding vehicle in the area, say preliminary CHP reports.
