Rancho Cordova Driver Hit and Kills Pedestrian in Wheelchair — Oct 6, 2017

A pedestrian in a wheelchair was attempting to cross Mather Field Road in Rancho Cordova when he was hit by a car Friday night. According to police, a 60-ish man using the crosswalk at International Drive was hit and died at the scene although officers attempted to help him. The driver stayed on the scene and was cooperative with authorities.
