Pickup Truck Runs onto Sidewalk at Lake Merced Boulevard Killing a Pedestrian

According to police, Saturday, November 21rst 2015, around 1 p.m. near John Muir Drive and Lake Merced Boulevard a pickup truck jumped a curb and ran into a 65 year old woman walking her dog, killing her and shutting down traffic to the streets for several hours. The truck flew into the lake after hitting the woman. Witnesses said the driver, a 40 year old woman, never braked or slowed down. The victims friend was walking a few steps behind her and was not hit, neither was the dog. The 40 year old female driver was not arrested and suffered only minor damages.
