One Dead in I580 Crash of Two Semis and a Car Near Castro Valley — Sep 14, 2017

So far, only one reported death in the early morning crash this morning on I580 in unincorporated Alameda county. Two semi-trucks and a sedan crashed close to 4:00 a.m. this morning near Castro Valley, east of Eden Canyon Road. A sig Alert was issued by 4:30 and westbound lanes of I580 are blocked. Crews are on the scene now as investigations are taking place.
