Niles Canyon Road Temporarily Closed Due to Accident

Niles Canyon Road was closed for over two hours after a crash in October 2015. A motorcyclist was involved in a solo accident causing some damage. Going eastbound and crashed into a train bridge. Speed was an issue and the motorcyclist lost control, hitting a guardrail and into the other lane. The injuries he suffered were not considered life threatening but was taken to the hospital for treatment. There was a fair amount of debris and motorcycle parts scattered about which was cleaned up in about two hours.
