Natomas Hit-and-Run Kills Teen Bicyclist — August 18, 2017

The police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that collided with a teenager riding a bicycle in Natomas. The driver fled the scene after the crash and the 15 year-old died from the injuries caused by the accident. It was around 8:28 p.m. when it all happened on El Centro road. The CHP reports two boys were riding their bikes northbound when a blue sedan coming southbound crossed tracks and hit one of the boys. There is no other known information regarding the vehicle or the person driving it, but the CHP did manage to collect the vehicle’s broken rearview mirror from the site as evidence.
