Multi-car Crash in Ukiah Results in Fatality — Apr 7, 2017

A multi-car pile-up began with a head-on collision and ended in a fiery fatality on Friday. At approximately 1:35 a.m. a northbound Toyota Camry driving at high speeds on North State Street encountered a black Ford Explorer traveling south at approximately 45 mph. According to reports, the Camry swerved into oncoming traffic and hit the explorer head-on. It continued further to hit a light pole and a Jeep parked in a nearby parking lot. The Jeep and the Toyota both erupted into flames. The Jeep was shoved into a Chrysler parked close to it. The Toyota driver died in the crash and has not yet been identified. No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.
