Minivan Hits Pole, One Dead in Santa Rosa — Oct 20, 2016

A Santa Rosa man died when he smashed his car into a traffic light pole in Sonoma County. Officers responded to an accident on Stony Point Road at West Third Street at around 1:46 a.m. Pronounced dead at the scene was 32-year-old, Victor Daniel Olivera-Pineda. He had driven his white 2000 Plymouth Voyager minivan north on Stony Point Road when he traveled through the intersection and hit the pole.
