Medical Issue Cause for Two Injuries in Belmont Crash — Dec 2, 2016

A six-car accident on El Camino Real Thursday injured two people. A wrong-way driver was the cause of the accident which occurred near 12:25 p.m. on the 1400 block. A San Carlos man, 60-years-old, driving a 1989 Honda Accord in the northbound lanes crossed over into the southbound lanes where he hit a Lexus. The impact forced the Lexus into another car, which then was struck by the Honda. A BMW was passing through and was showered with debris. The Honda then hit a Subaru and caused it to hit a parked Toyota sitting on the shoulder of the road. Drivers of both the Honda and the Lexus experienced injuries. While alcohol does not appear to be a factor, some sort of medical condition is expected.
