Medical Emergency Causes Turlock Crash, July 25, 2015

At approximately 8 a.m. on Friday morning, residents began to realize a red Toyota Prius west of South Central Avenue at Linwood Avenue with an occupant inside had been sitting several hours in the same spot with no movement. At a halt on the road shoulder of the westbound lanes, facing east, sat a 60-year-old man in an unresponsive state, say California Highway Patrol spokespersons. When police and emergency crews responded to the scene he was pronounced dead immediately. Evidence proves the car was rolling at a slow speed when it came across the lanes and slowly rolled over a discarded telephone pole and came to a stop on the shoulder of the road. The man’s identity is still being held in lieu of familial notification.
