Marin County Crash Kills Three — Oct 18, 2017

Three 18-year-old men were killed in Marin County after leaving the road and hitting a power pole and a tree. The accident happened just after midnight, per California Highway Patrol. An off-duty National Park Service ranger spotted the wreckage and called it in. The victims were identified as Chance Maurer, of Novato, and brothers Chancellor and Lancelot Argall, of San Anselmo. Investigators believe the Toyota Corolla they were driving left the road at a high rate of speed because so much of the roof was removed during the collision.
