Man Killed in Dixon Big Rig Crash — August 4, 2017

Christian Savage, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene, in his copper Dodge Neon Wednesday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Midway Road and state Highway 113-Rio Dixon Road. It was approximately 10:14 a.m. Savage, a resident of Elk Grove, was driving on westbound Midway when he entered SR-113. As he did so, he hit a big rig truck traveling northbound on SR-113. The truck hit the left side of the Neon. The truck driver was not injured. The accident is still under investigation.
