Man Dies in Strange On-Ramp Accident at Lincoln Avenue

A Marin County man was killed in San Rafael when his car drove off an Interstate on-ramp. He then flew up an embankment where it flipped. California Highway Patrol responded to a call involving a wreck at the Lincoln Avenue on-ramp around 11:30 a.m. Witnesses reported a gray Cadillac sedan that had been travelling normally when it began to drift up a hill beside the on-ramp and finally rolling onto its roof. Emergencies crews arrived to a trapped and unresponsive victim. He died at the scene.
