Injuries in Two Calaveras County Weekend Crashes- August 8, 2016

Murphy’s Grade Road was the scene of the first Calaveras County car accident over the weekend. It occurred on Saturday the 6th near Fairview Park Court at around 5 pm. Francine Joy, 61 years old, drifted off the roadway while driving a 2003 Honda. She ran into a tree. The Honda turned over completely, slid down an embankment and landed on its roof. Ms. Joy received moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
