A Glenn County crash on I5, just south of County Road 39 close to Artois, killed a woman from Corning, Monica Skidmore, 37. She was traveling in her 2010 Dodge Charger in the southbound lanes at about 4 a.m. when Ronald Carlin of Red Bluff, 76-years-old, driving a 2010 Ford Edge, traveling the wrong direction collided head on with Skidmore’s car. Immediately after the impact, Thomas Vuoso Jr., 60-years-old, driving a big rig southbound rolled up on the wreckage and could not stop in time. He crashed in Skidmore’s car.
