Highway 99 Crash Stalls Traffic — Apr 11, 2017

A large box truck tipped over on its side and several other cars crashed Tuesday on Highway 99 in Sacramento. At approximately 10:20 a.m. calls began coming into California Highway Patrol dispatch concerning accidents on Highway 99 northbound close to 12th Avenue. Several trees were also hit in the process. Several lanes of traffic were closed for two hours before slowly opening again, one by one.
