Highway 50 Accident Takes Life of Vacaville Motorcyclist, July 25, 2016

The Sacramento County Coroner identified the victim of the Highway 50 crash as Vacaville resident Matthew Wilson, 28. It was approximately 8 in the morning on Thursday when Wilson was riding his motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound along the center median of the highway in West Sacramento. In an attempt to pass slower traffic, Wilson lost control of the bike and struck a concrete barrier in the center median. He was struck by a car after flying from his motorcycle and landing in the fast lane. He was pronounced dead after arriving at UC Davis Medical Center.
