After checking, police found it was a stolen vehicle from the Eureka area. The chase wound down Pebble Beach Drive, A, G, and 4th streets and then onto U.S. 101 southbound. More Officers joined in the chase as it passed South Beach and went onto Sand Mine Road. The driver lost control trying to make a left turn through the stop sign at Sand Mine and Humboldt roads.
