Half-Naked Man Arrested After Car Chase in Livermore — Dec 8, 2016

A half-naked man led police on a high-speed chase through Livermore when officers in an unmarked car noticed a UC Berkeley truck driving erratically in the Pleasanton area. They set off their emergency lights and attempted to pull the truck over but he sped away. The driver threw a fire extinguisher out the window to dissuade the chase. He eventually slammed on his breaks and caused to police to rear-end him. As the chase continued, the driver was disrobing in the truck. He was almost naked by the time the police stopped him. He is Logan Mitre, 30, an Oakland transient. He admitted to stealing the truck, saying he believed he was being chased. He was arrested and booked into jail.
