Half Moon Bay Accident Kills El Granada Woman — Nov 21, 2016

Mikaila Lucido has been identified as the woman from El Granada who was killed in Half Moon Bay when her car hit a tree. She was 21-years-old. It was at approximately 12:55 a.m. at the intersection of state Highway 1 and Wavecrest Road when Lucido went off-road. She was the only one in the car.  She was a College of San Mateo student who had attended Half Moon Bay High. Investigations are still underway as to whether drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident. Witness are also being sought to help determine why she went off the roadway.
