Golf Cart Crash Kills Angels Camp Man — Sep 6, 2017

Highway 4 in Angels Camp was the scene of a deadly hit and run and California Highway Patrol is asking for help in finding the responsible vehicle. Cody Horn, 28-years-old, of Angels Camp, was riding a 1998 Yamaha golf cart being towed behind another vehicle using a garden hose. The golf cart swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a 2000 Ford F-550 truck head-on. Horn was ejected from the golf cart and was later pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle that was towing Horn in the cart sped from the scene. A toxicology report will be done upon autopsy to determine if Horn was intoxicated.
