Fleeing Motorcyclist Injured in Crash — Oct 3, 2017

Lance Edwin Evan, 33, riding a Harley Davidson running from police on Guerneville Road at Fulton Road at speeds up to 100 mph crashed his bike into a car at a nearby shopping center in Sonoma County Tuesday. Evans suffered a broken pelvis and broken wrist in the crash with a Chevrolet Blazer after police attempted a traffic stop at around 9:40 a.m. on eastbound Guerneville Road. Police lost him in heavy traffic but spotted him speeding again a few minutes later. He sped up to avoid police and collided with the Blazer. He flew into the air and crashed to the ground. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a life-threatening injury.
