Fiery El Cajon Crash Kills One — Oct 24, 2016

A vehicle went off the road just east of El Cajon on Sunday before flying into a private home’s backyard and catching fire. The accident occurred at approximately 8:41 on La Cresta Boulevard at Mountain View Road. The surrounding brush caught fire as well. The compact car was burnt to half its size although firefighters were able to knock the fire down in record time. The cause of the accident and the driver’s identity have not yet been identified.
