Fairfield Solo Accident Kills Woman — Feb 14, 2017

Forty-six-year-old Valerie Jones body was identified after having been the victim of a solo accident in Fairfield on eastbound Interstate 80, east of Mace Boulevard. It was around 10:15 a.m. when police received the call of Jones accident. Upon arrival, police realized that she had somehow lost control of her 2015 Nissan and went off-road at an unknown speed where she hit a tree. She was dead when police arrived and pronounced shortly afterward.
