El Dorado County Man Caused DUI Accident With His Wife and Two Kids

Joseph Piparo, authorities say, was driving drunk with his wife Rachelle and two children when his silver Dodge pickup rolled over, killing his wife. The children, ages 3 and 14 months suffered no injury. Rachelle received the brunt of the injuries, according to California Highway Patrol, because of the direction the pickup rolled. Joseph Piparo was arrested by El Dorado police on several charges including DUI, vehicular manslaughter and child endangerment.
