DUI Suspected in Concord Accident with Parked Car -- Nov 30, 2017

DUI is suspected in the Thursday morning crash in Concord that sent an automobile up and over a curb, say police. Police responded to Concord Boulevard and Vavold Street in the early morning hours, where a driver had plowed into a parked car, Concord police said in a social media post. Pictures taken at the scene showed an SUV and a light-colored sedan involved. Both vehicles showed extensive damage. A utility box was also damaged in the crash. Firefighters, rescuers, and paramedics responded. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
