DUI on Park Way in Lakeport Kills 19-Year Old, Injures Driver

Francesca Rose Schetter, Lakeport, died at an area hospital shortly after the accident. The driver was her new boyfriend Nicholas Ivicevich III, 21, who received serious injuries and was arrested for DUI. His injuries were extensive including a lacerated liver and broken ribs requiring him to be air lifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Both worked at an area McDonalds and had recently began dating. Ivicevich was driving southbound on Park Way and lost control of the car going around a curve near Lakeshore Boulevard. He ran off the road and hit a utility pole. The pole smashed the car and Schetter had to be cut out. Both were wearing seatbelts.
