DUI Driver Crashes Following Fresno Helicopter Chase — Feb 5, 2017

Forty-eight year old Paul Meza was driving drunk in his GMC pick-up truck eastbound on Highway 180 close to Highway 41 running from police. A Fresno Skywatch helicopter got wind of the pursuit and shone a light beam on him as he drove along Belmont Street. He crashed into another car before driving onto his own property and crashing into his garage. Police arrived and arrested him after a short struggle. The occupants of the other car were not hurt.
